Tells a story of a brown eyed
Blonde girl
With four legs and a swishing tail
Her kind nature drew memoirs
From people far and wide
The most traumatised and jaded
Soften at her gaze
As if they’ve been pricked with truth serum
They babble and ramble about the hardships of life
But the hope they carry rings louder
With tufts of Daisy’s hair in their hands
Their eyes glimmer with tears and reflections
Of Daisy the Golden’s soothing smile
